I work as a vitality specialist bringing body and mind together to build a serene and positive lifestyle. Using Sophrology as an awareness method, I help students and young professionals find calm and positive energy more often in their lives, to perform with greater joy and ease.
I offer certified courses and special programs tailored to individual or group needs, to boost self-confidence and assertiveness, making studying, working, and COLLABORATING more effective.

What is Sophrology?
Sophrology is a structured method widely used in Switzerland, France and Belgium. Also known as “Dynamic Relaxation Caycedo” (DRC), it is made of easy-to-do physical and mental exercises. When practiced regularly, this method leads to a calm and positive mindset that empowers the client to maintain a healthy body and a relaxed, but alert, mind. This state of being makes individuals resilient to different kinds of stress we face at school, at work or in life.
Caycedian Sophrology is named after Dr. Alfonso Caycedo, the neuropsychiatrist who invented Sophrology in the 1960s. Since then, several schools have emerged. Caycedian Sophrology is simply the Sophrology of the inventor of this discipline.
Sophrology has a wide spectrum of applications. You find sophrologists working with doctors and practitioners, in schools, with sport professionals, artists, in corporations or to deal with important personal events. You can read more on Caycedo Institute’s website.
I am specialized using this simple and profound method to help students at school or young professionals in a new role (or team) to reach their goals with more calm and confidence.
DISCOVER SOPHROLOGY
Sophrology is primarily an experience. During the first appointment, after a brief explanation of the basic principles of the method, we practice a technique together.
It is essential that you experience it yourself to understand what it can mean for you. I teach students and young professionals develop a positive attitude in order to achieve their personal goals with more calm and confidence.
With 2 to 3 sessions and regular practice, you can experience positive changes within a few weeks on areas like:

Positive physical and mental habits are crucial for optimal performance at school or during tests and exams.
To help strengthen the mental and physical resilience of teenagers and young people, I give very practical individual or group sessions, including theory, on aspects of importance in learning such as stress, the importance of a healthy body, concentration, optimism or positive anticipation.

The sophrology training ‘Well-being & Sophrology ‘ teaches you how to develop and maintain positive habits, allowing you to navigate the challenges of the day with greater resilience and calm. From stress management and releasing tension to strengthening a positive mindset—this course provides you with the tools to lead a balanced and healthy life.
At work, you will quickly notice how an increased self-confidence, optimism and vitality help take more risks, make better decisions and build more constructive relationships on a daily basis.

If you suffer from insomnia, don’t get enough sleep, or don’t feel rested, this course will help you address your sleep issues naturally.
5 sessions – theory, techniques and tools about sleep – €250
After 5 weeks, you can expect to see a difference. If you continue to apply the techniques learned, you will notice a positive change in your sleep quality. For most people, sleep patterns normalize after 3 to 6 months.

1. Tailored workshop, in collaboration with Yvonne van Schaik – Executive Coach, specifically developed to become freer from socio-cultural biases and unwanted automatic behaviors.
2. Customized program focused on the well-being and performance development of international professionals and students. Offered in collaboration with Dr. Margarita Lourido, founder of Switch Intercultural.
For creating working environments rich in initiatives and strong team cohesion, I collaborate with an Executive Coach, a Doctor of Psychology, and a Certified Mountain Guide.
With Personal Leadership and Adaptability as central development themes, these customized programs are ideal for young professionals who feel lost in a new role or team, and for team leaders struggling with a lack of cohesion and initiative within their team.

ADAPABILITY
Since we are part of a natural and cultural environment in constant motion, to which we must constantly adapt both personally and professionally, I use nature as a ‘co-coach’ with boost sessions of ‘Sophrology in Nature‘. For this, I work with Olivier Bello of Arpentages.
Happiness in life is what I wish for everyone, and I want to help those who choose to connect more deeply with themselves to achieve it.
In 2017, I discovered Sophrology during my recovery from burnout.
Amazed by the quick results from the exercises, I decided to pursue training myself. I earned my master’s degree at Sofrocay, which allows me to use the title ‘Caycedian Sophrologist.’
I am an active member of VCS vzw, the Dutch-speaking professional association for Caycedian Sophrologists.
My motivation to specialize in Sophrology was to improve my way of life and gain a deeper understanding of myself. Indeed, due to a lack of self-awareness and self-appreciation, I ignored my own priorities for too long. This partly led to poor lifestyle habits that eventually culminated in burnout.
The Sophrology exercises restored my self-confidence. I now approach life more positively and can better distance myself from the hustle and bustle of the day. Increased self-confidence, optimism, inner calm, and vitality help me take more risks, make better decisions, and form more constructive relationships on a daily basis.
